Many dogs are like real explorers. They love experiencing new things. And so does Bakley Stumps, a sweet corgi who is currently living with Tracey Boble, his beloved adoptive mother. However, Tracey Noble never thought that this mischievous boy would love experiencing life underwater.
One morning, Tracey was doing some household chores, tidying up here and there. As she paused to glance at her pet turtle, Larry, in his aquarium tank, she noticed something quite unexpected.
“I was admiring the clear water, having just cleaned it the night before,” Tracey shared. Everything seemed normal at first, but as she shifted her position slightly, she had a shocking realization – it appeared that Barkley Stumps had found his way into Larry’s tank. He looked so calm with his entire body under the water.

“I started laughing and grabbed my phone,” Tracey said, completely entertained. It seemed as if Barkley had magically teleported into the aquarium!
Or had he?
As it turned out, Barkley was actually lounging on the floor behind Tracey. He had found a cozy sunbeam to stretch out in, and because of the angle from which Tracey had been looking at the tank, Barkley’s reflection was perfectly mirrored on the turtle’s tank in front of her. What a perfect angel!
“I couldn’t believe how clear the reflection of him was,” Tracey said.

She then called her daughter over to view this optical illusion too, and together they laughed at the strange effect. However, as the sun moved, the magical effect slowly faded away. Still, it was a fleeting moment enjoyed by all.
“Barkley was excited that we were laughing and that he was the center of attention, for sure!” Noble said.
Later, Tracey shared the illusion online, and it quickly gained popularity, receiving thousands of likes and shares from people around the world. All thanks to Barkley’s charming presence and interesting trick of the eye.
“He would be thrilled to know that he brought so much happiness and wonder to so many people!” Noble said. “I am not sure if I could capture that again if I tried!”
