Mother of 26year old Mali calls her twins ‘Gifts Frοm Gοd’



Abdelkader Arby and Halima Cissé, who had 9 children—5 girls and 4 boys—entered the Guinness Book of Records on May 4, 2021, and just celebrated their first birthday

The 30-week-old babies are being monitored by the hospital, but their father says they are healthy. Daughters Fatouma, Adama, Kadidia, Hawa, and Oumou, and brothers Oumar, Bah, Mohammed VI, and Elhadji, feel great and grow stronger every day. They all climbed previously. If they cling to something, some kids can sit up and walk, said the proud father.

Halima Cissé said her family makes her happy, but she admits that infant care is exhausting. However exhausting parenting is, parents feel blessed. They also have a 3-year-old daughter, Souda. Arby said, “It wasn’t easy, but it felt great.” During pregnancy, the mother was transferred to a Moroccan clinic, while Arby stayed in Mᴀʟɪ with their daughter. The family reunited in October.

At first, doctors thought 26-year-old Halima Cissé was having seven children, but at the Ain Borja Clinic in Casablanca, she had nine. This doesn’t stop us because we have Morocco’s largest neonatal resuscitation service. Dr. Youssef Alaoui, a hospital doctor, said his team is ready to receive the children and care for them.
