Rihanna is always booked and busy – but not in the way her fans want her to be.
The Grammy Award-winning star shared a post on social media recently sharing the news that her beauty brand Fenty Beauty is partnering with the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. The photo showed her in front of the Eifel Tower in Paris, with the Olympic rings just out of focus.
In focus is a picture of Rihanna walking in front of the landmark, wearing a black dress and a multicolored jacket. She’s holding hands with a Fenty Beauty product that has drawn on arms with one of the arms holding a wine glass.
“Tried to tell yall….we outside all 2024!!! PROUD to announce that @FentyBeauty is a premium partner of the Olympic AND Paralympic Games baby!!! #FentyxParis2024,” she captioned the photo with lipstick and trophy emojis.
Fans praised the photo and congratulated RiRi on the partnership. However, others echoed a similar three word plea – release the album.
“That’s good mama! now let’s get into the album announcement,” one fan commented on Rihanna’s Twitter post. Another wrote: “We’ve been asking for Album you’ve been ignoring us.”
The comments followed Rihanna to Instagram, where her announcement post had similar comments. “What about Fenty Music?” a fan penned. Another said: “We’re never getting that album.”

Some fans came to Rihanna’s defense, with one pointing out that Rihanna is a Pisces and will “do the opposite” of what people want. Another chastized: “If yall don’t stop asking her for an album, she clearly taking a break let her be at peace with herself for a moment.”
Rihanna last released an album in 2016, and ever since then fans have been clamoring for more music. Her most recent solo music release was in 2022 when she did the song Lift Me Up for the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.
She fueled rumors of a new album when she performed at the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime show, but the superstar has been focusing more on her family and her beauty and fashion lines.
The announcement photo originally included Rihanna’s partner and father of her two children, A$AP Rocky. But the rapper was photoshopped out for the Fenty product.
